Kofi Kyereh Recounts How He Slept In Ghana Colors As A Kid And Dreamt Of Playing For Black Stars

Kofi Kyereh has spoken about sleeping in Ghana colors as a child and his desire to play for the Black Stars. Kofi Kyereh, a German-born Ghanaian footballer, has spoken about how he used to sleep in Ghanaian flags and his dream of playing for the Ghana Black Stars.

Kofi Kyereh took to social media a few days before Ghana’s first match in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup against Portugal to share a photo his parents took of him when he was a child. He was dressed in Ghanaian colors, holding the Ghana flag and a calendar featuring the Ghana Black Stars squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

He had a football on his bed, indicating that he has always desired to play football and represent Ghana. The photograph was taken during Germany’s 2006 World Cup when he was only ten years old. Finally, his dream came true in 2021, and on Thursday, he will add to it by representing Ghana at the world’s largest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup.
