22-year-old Lady Nana Yaa Nyarko shed tears of joy last night when she was crowned the winner of this 2023 Miss Malaika Ghana beauty pageant. The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) graduate defeated nine other contestants in the competitive 2023 event held at Accra’s International Conference Center21-year-old University of Ghana student Enyam Dzandu finished as the first runner-up, while 23-year old KNUST alumna Fareeda Habib took second runner up honors.

From the outset, Lady Nana Yaa stood out among the contestants with her stage presence, poise, and confident responses during segments like the talent showcase. Her stellar performance answering judge questions clinched the crown by earning the top score.

As the 2023 Miss Malaika Ghana, Lady Nana Yaa received prizes including a new car, cash reward, international trip, and sponsor gifts. In interviews after her win, the excited beauty queen said her victory felt like a dream realized after initially entering on a whim.

The pageant finale also featured musical acts like Mr Drew, S3fa and Maya Blu entertaining the crowd between competition rounds. Organized annually by Charterhouse Productions, the Miss Malaika Ghana platform seeks to empower young ladies by showcasing their unique talents.
