Manuel Ugarte joins Manchester United for a €60m transfer package

Manuel Ugarte is inching closer to sealing his move from Ligue-One side, Paris Saint-Germain on a €60 million permanent transfer package to Manchester United.

After Manchester United secured all green lights from Manuel Ugarte in the month of July; United have been on the negotiation table with Ligue-One giants, Paris Saint-Germain since then. Further, Negotiations between both clubs are in the final stages of completing the transfer deal.

Manuel Ugarte joined Paris Saint-Germain last two summer transfer window however, he believes that it is high time he moves into the English Premier League to begin a new chapter. The services of the defensive-midfielder is immensely needed by Manchester United and Ugarte deems himself as a perfect fit to play that position for United in the Premier League.

Further, Manchester United is set to pay a permanent transfer fixed fee of €50 million; €10 million add-ons summing it up as a total transfer package of €60 million. All contract documents are being exchanged to by Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain today.

Plus, Manuel Ugarte is already in Manchester as he is currently undergoing medical test as new Manchester United`s new player. He will ink a five-year deal meanwhile, one key take-away from his contract is, a 10 percent sell-on clause has been stipulated in the contract.

However, Manchester United has Casemiro, a veteran and a master in the defensive-midfield role. That not withstanding, Manchester United deems Ugarte as the perfect replacement for Casemiro as the club is seeking to hand-over the position to the young defensive-midfielder.
