Masquerades Invade Church, Flog Pastor and Members In Plateau State

On September 18, 2022 masquerades stormed a church in Shikal village, Langtang South Local Government Area, Plateau State.
The masquerades halted church services, flogged the Pastor and his congregation, and destroyed the church’s musical equipment.

The believers were allegedly taken aback by the masquerades’ actions, but they did not respond in like. Instead, they banded together to save what was left of their properties.

According to the Daily Trust, elders in the area where the tragedy occurred are working to restore normalcy. It was also learned that they are making attempts to get to the bottom of the problem.
