In a heartwarming turn of events, Mr. Salifu Ibrahim, affectionately known as Mba Baba Fiter, has become the talk of the town after his remarkable act of honesty. Despite enduring 18 months without pay, Mr. Salifu returned a lost GHC20,000, earning him widespread recognition and substantial rewards.

His inspiring story reached the senior management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, who invited him to Accra to commend his integrity. During the meeting, Mr. Salifu was gifted a motorbike and GHC10,000 by the company. Additionally, the officials personally contributed GHC7,000, with some gifting him $20 each and one offering GHC10,000.

The wave of generosity did not stop there. Hajia TiTi, a philanthropist from Kumasi, donated GHC5,000, while an anonymous donor sent him GHC300 through media personality Naa Damba.

In total, Mr. Salifu received over GHC28,400 in cash, a motorbike, and overwhelming admiration from Ghanaians across the country.

Speaking to Dm Tv, Mr. Salifu expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the support and kindness shown to him. He revealed that Zoomlion officials warmly welcomed him upon arrival, even contributing GHC20 to buy him water.
