Lionel Messi, the football legend who currently graces the Inter Miami team, has hinted at the possibility of expanding his family with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo. Messi, 36, and Antonela, also 36, are already proud parents to three sons – Thiago, 10, Mateo, 7, and Ciro, 5.
During an interview on OLGA, Argentinian comedian Migue Granados posed the question of whether the couple would consider adding another member to their family. Messi, who welcomed Granados into his Miami home for the interview, playfully teased the idea of welcoming a baby girl. He said, “We’re not trying, but I don’t know [if the factory has closed]. We’ll see if a baby girl arrives.”
Messi’s eldest son, Thiago, seems to be following in his father’s footsteps by joining Inter Miami’s academy in August. However, Messi pointed out that each of his three sons possesses distinct personalities. He described Thiago as more focused during play and less likely to seek approval on the field. In contrast, Mateo enjoys engaging with the crowd and applauding when he enters the field. Ciro, the youngest, is still in the process of defining his personality at the age of five.
Messi and Antonela, who share a deep bond, seem to be considering the idea of growing their family. The possibility of a baby girl joining their clan adds to the excitement for the couple.
