According to results from 267 constituencies—excluding nine yet-to-be-declared—Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) secured 6,328,397 votes, representing 56.55% of valid votes cast.
His closest rival, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), obtained 4,657,304 votes, representing 41.61%. The election featured 12 candidates in total, with voter turnout recorded at 60.9% based on the 267 constituencies.
