NSMQ 2021: Keta SHS proceeds to grand finale for first time
Keta Senior High Technical School (Ketasco) has sailed through to the final stage of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) after recording a flawless victory over Wesley Girls SHS and Tamale SHS on Tuesday.
After that crunch encounter, ketasco made it clear that they are prepared to make it one and win the championship for the first time in history for Volta.
This win makes it their first time of being in the finals. Judging from their previous contests, the ‘Ketascans’ were expected to ‘slay’ their contenders.
The victory sent Ketasco supporters roaring beyond control in the Saarah-Mensah Auditorium at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The all girls school Wesley Girls SHS, failed to qualify for the finals
Having been ranked as one of the seeded schools to partake in NSMQ 2022, they can restore that hope in the next edition of the national championship.
At the end of the contest, the ‘eagles of Volta’ amassed 53points. On the other hand, Wesley Girls recorded 35points while Tamale SHS managed only 31 points.
NOW OR NEVER! 🦅
