Pastor Love Kweku Hammond, the former husband of gospel singer Obaapa Christy, has harshly criticized his ex-wife after she mocked him on a radio show. In a recent outburst, Pastor Love claimed that Obaapa Christy is facing the same betrayal she once inflicted on him, alleging that just as her current husband, Nana Frankie, pursued her while she was still married to him, others are now doing the same to her.
Pastor Love further accused Obaapa Christy of betraying her former close friend, Gifty Osei, by attempting to sabotage her marriage. He suggested that if not for someone intervening on Gifty Osei’s behalf, her marriage would have ended due to Obaapa Christy’s actions.
During an interview on Kingdom FM with host Fiifi Pratt, Obaapa Christy was asked about Pastor Love’s contribution to her music career, specifically his role in helping her create hit songs that boosted her success. However, Obaapa Christy dismissed any involvement by Pastor Love, denying that he played any part in her career. Instead, she praised her current husband, with whom she admitted to having an affair while still married to Pastor Love.
The “Yare3 ye y3” crooner went on to belittle her former husband, calling him incompetent and implying that he lacked the intelligence to write songs, let alone discover her talent.
Unable to contain his emotions, Pastor Love took to social media to air his grievances, accusing Obaapa Christy of various wrongdoings. He claimed that she attempted to ruin Gifty Osei’s marriage and also accused her of having an affair with Osofo Kyiri Abosom, which he alleges led to the breakdown of their own marriage. According to Pastor Love, despite being married to a German man named Borger, Obaapa Christy continues to engage in infidelity during her trips to Ghana.
In a self-recorded video, Pastor Love further alleged that Obaapa Christy once had a secret affair with Osofo Kyiri Abosom and even took his car by force as a result of their relationship.
