Following his exceptional performances at events around Europe and UK most especially, DJ Meks Richard has been tipped to win Outstanding DJ of the Year Award at this year’s edition of Nigeria Achievers Awards slated for November 7, this year at Excellence Hotel and Conference Centre, Ikeja Lagos, Nigeria.
According to him, this year is a “blessed year for me” and that he believes he will grab the award.
Music lovers and analysts have also tipped him to outshine his colleagues in the awards due to his prominence as one of the finest, hardworking and most widely known DJs in Europe and UK at large.
“My interest in disc jockeying led me to so many places, I feel based to be be recognized by a big award scheme like NAA,” Eti-Osa native told XORLALI.
In his entire radio career spanning over 10 years, DJ Meks Richard is among key diasporans who has been putting Nigeria on the map and has managed to train many up and coming DJs, and hopes to train many more before he retires.
