In an interview Rocky Dawuni address the debate around the Grammy hiplife eulogy.
The raggae musician called on peace among the Ghanaian musician and to stop to create conflict among the hiplife eulogy.
Rocky Dawuni also says we should throw attention on we focusing on celebrating the benefits and talents we have in the music industry.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana Rocky Dawuni says people are creating conflicts with the Grammy hiplife eulogy among the Ghanaian music industry.
He said:It is something that I think that people are using to create so much news and people are pitting each other.”
Rocky Dawuni calls on peace among Ghana music industry and says division among them won’t help promote growth in the music industry.
He said:Every acknowledgement of our music industry is a positive one. They have acknowledged our hiplife, which is rightfully so and the people who have been involved in evolving that genre and making the strong genre that has been influential. For me, I don’t think there should be any argument or people should be using this to say things about the artistes. They are going into the whole thing of pitting artistes against each other. We are together. We just all work together. Anything that comes is for the industry.”
The Grammy’s shared a post on social media were they were list of hiplife artists which were past and present ones who were celebrated by the Grammy for upholding the game before and now.
