Sarah Beeny, an English broadcaster and businesswoman, has been diagnosed with breast cancer, the same disease that claimed the life of her mother, Ann Beeny.
Sarah Beeny disclosed that she began a chemotherapy regimen to address the condition. Sarah acknowledged that when she learned of the state of the body, she was in shock. She also made a suggestion that she will have radiotherapy and surgery in the coming year.
Sarah Beeny will carry on with her profession and host her programmes, including Help! Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country and My House Is Falling Apart. When Sarah Beeny was only 10 years old, her mother passed away from breast cancer. She spoke frankly about the tragic event.
“Mum had her life ahead of her, so many things she should have been doing and looking forward to. It’s hard to think about. As a young girl, I was protected from the harsher realities of my mother’s illness, but I still noticed.”
