Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Mr Logic has in a recent interview with Hitz FM admonished Ghanaians to stop attacking Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and calling him bad names with regards to collaborations.
According to Mr Logic, many social media netizens believe Sarkodie feeds on younger Ghanaian artistes to rise to the top because they believe the rapper is stingy and greedy.
However he doesn’t believe that is the case as he stated that it’s rather the younger ones that benefit because Sarkodie has the brand and name in the music industry.
He went on to use Black Sherif remix as an example that with a feature from Nigeria singer, Burna Boy it’s gives Black Sherif a ride in his music career.
He further added that
“in the music space, you always need a bigger brand to endorse you. It gives numbers, so Black Sherif is going to benefit more from this collaboration than Burna Boy”.
