“This Is Just the Beginning” – John-Peter Amewu Reacts to Hohoe Election Loss

In a heartfelt reflection on his electoral loss, outgoing Hohoe MP John-Peter Amewu has expressed deep gratitude to his constituents and supporters, urging them to view this moment not as the end, but as the dawn of a new chapter.

Following the 2024 parliamentary elections, Mr. Amewu, the first-ever New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for the Hohoe Constituency, gracefully conceded defeat to Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He revealed that he personally congratulated the new MP, signaling a spirit of sportsmanship and respect for democratic processes.

Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, now the MP-elect, will take the reins, marking a new era of leadership for the people of Hohoe.
