Former All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Adamu Garba has reacted to the controversy surrounding former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu’s alleged “outburst” while speaking to party delegates in Ogun State.
Tinubu boasted about making Muhammadu Buhari President and Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, in his speech, insisting that it is his turn to be President.
In response to the controversy and speculation that the former Lagos state governor would be sidelined in the ruling party’s upcoming primaries, Adamu claimed that Tinubu’s lieutenants, including Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, Ministers, Southwest Governors, and others, had betrayed him.
“Quite alright Tinubu is betrayed, not by Buhari but by his lieutenants like Osibanjo, Ministers, Governors from the Southwest, etc. Look at his surroundings, you’ll find Kashim, Abu Ibrahim, Ganduje, Kashim-Imam, Aminu Suleman, etc. Where are his beneficiaries? I hate betrayal!”
