Tyler Troy of Portsmouth Died in a single-vehicle Accident in Portsmouth,
The driver of the Porsche that rolled over and killed four people in Portsmouth on Thursday has been identified as New Hampshire resident Tyler Troy.
The driver of a car involved in a deadly accident on Thursday morning in Rockingham County has been identified as Tyler N. Troy, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Early Thursday morning, a single-vehicle accident occurred in Portsmouth, and the driver was identified as 22-year-old Troy, who is suspected of driving under the influence.
At about 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, a Porsche Macan driven by Troy reportedly left Route 1 Bypass in Portsmouth and went off the road in the area of the Portsmouth Traffic Circle for reasons that remain unclear. A curb was hit, and the car flipped several times.
Troy was one of six persons that were thrown from the Porsche.
Four people were sent to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
Both Troy and the other passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries and were sent to nearby hospitals.
At the hospital, one of the passengers was pronounced dead.
The police have not yet filed any charges, but they have speculated that impairment and speed were factors in the collision.
