Undefeated boxing world champion Jermall Charlo has been arrested by the police on Wednesday for robbery.
Recall Jermall Charlo was charges for robbery from a July incident at a San Antonio bar but got released after posting a bond on three charges of second-degree.
According to a police report, boxing world champion Jermall Charlo’s credit card was declined for a large bar tab on July 16 morning which was the eve of Charlo’s brother Jermell’s world title bout in San Antonio.
It’s was then that a warrant accused Charlo of removing his identification and cash from his waitress’s possession before leaving the bar.
However Charlo’s attorney, Kent Schaffer, said;
“Jermall stole no money from anyone at the club and made no threats toward anyone,” Schaffer told KSAT. “At no time did he rob anyone or take any property other than his own.”
