The University for Development Studies use to have four campuses: Tamale campus, Nyankpala campus, Wa Campus and Navrongo campus with Tamale campus being the central administration.

The Tamale and Nyankpala campuses is still under the University for Development Studies administration, where as the other two campuses, Navrongo and Wa campuses have been isolated.

The Navrongo campus is now known as the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Science, whereas the Wa campus is S.D. Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies.

Is The Admission For Undergraduate Still In Progress?

The undergraduate admission for the University for Development Students has been closed for the 2021/22 academic year. The admission was opened in January and the closing date for the submission of applications was on July 31, 2021.

Successful applicants can visit http://uds.edu.gh to check their respective status and programs they have been offered to study.

UDS Admission List is simply the name names of successfully admitted applicant who have been offered provisional admission into the institution. The list is usually released after the institution has conducted a thorough screening exercise.

  • Visit the UDS admission status checker portal on https://admissions.uds.edu.h/18671
  • Search for your name using either your application ID, surname, first name or the progamme you choose.
  • Print your provisional admission letter online and pay your fees to prevent you from losing your admission.
  • Payment of fees can be done at any branch of Ghana Commercial Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, EcoBank, Stanbic Bank, Prudential Bank and Zenith Bank throughout Ghana.
  • For foreign students, their fees can be paid at any Ecobank branch.

What is the cut off points for UDS?

UDS have their cut-off points as aggregate 36 for WASSCE (and 24 for SSSCE). That is 3 core subjects and 3 electives.

Has UDS started giving admission 2021 2022?

UDS admission for the 2021/2022 academic year is open for prospective applicants to apply. Candidates are required to meet the University’s entry requirement before they can apply. Before application, applicants need to purchase the E-Voucher which contains the Serial Number and PIN needed to start the process.
