The fifth edition of the Volta Media Excellence Award took centre stage last weekend as major stakeholders in the media ecosystem were given recognition and appreciated.
As the media has always been the vein through which information, education, and entertainment will be disseminated to the populace. Therefore, it is in the right tangent for individuals who are professionals in the media landscape to be appreciated for their efforts and hard work which has always served the masses with the right information whether through the traditional media, which is the radio, television and newspapers or through the online space.
Volta Media Excellence Awards, a regional media awarding scheme over the weekend, On the 31st of August, 2024, held its fifth edition awarding players in the media ecosystem, which is mainly for industry folks in the Volta region of Ghana. In that vein, the Volta Media Excellence Awards (VMEA) award winners in categories like Blogger of the Year, Blog of the Year, Female radio newscaster of the Year, Male radio newscaster of the Year, Mid-Morning show host of the Radio producer of the year and many other categories relating to the media.

Plus, the fifth edition of the Volta Media Excellence Awards held at Dzodze, a suburb in the Volta region was graced by Parliamentary Candidates for the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress, Hon. Enoch Kwabla Amegbletor and Hon. Eric Edem Agbana respectively.
Meanwhile, the awards night experienced performances from super-talented musical gems like Mprez ODY, Yoo Twitch, Denisty Willy and PH Wavez; certainly, all participants who paid to be a part of the night had value for their money and dignitaries also had an experience of a delightful night which acknowledged the most deserving industry folks in the media fraternity which was coupled with a lot of entertainment.
