Nigeria’s Super Falcons have done it again! They won their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title after beating hosts Morocco 3-2 in a thrilling final on Saturday night, July 26, 2025, at the Stade Olympique in Rabat.

The Super Falcons came from 2-0 down at halftime to win the game with an unforgettable second-half performance. Their experience and fighting spirit helped them to once again prove they are the best women’s football team in Africa.

Morocco Start Strong

The match started well for Morocco, who were playing in front of their home fans. In the 12th minute, their captain Ghizlane Chebbak scored a beautiful goal from outside the box to make it 1-0.
