Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Kwame Ametepee Tsikata with a brand name M.anifest tweeted on his page on Twitter, after he found out of his tweet on a billboard in Madina.
M.anifest is known to have won the heart of many Ghanaians through his rapping as well as singing style. M.anifest is the son of a Ghanaian Lawyer and academician Tsatsu Tsikata and Reverend Dr. Priscilla Naana Nketia.
The talented musician released his first solo album in 2007. He used funds from Pepsi jingle which was played on U.S. radio nationally at a point in his career. He has been releasing a couple of songs and albums after his first solo album. Some of the songs released by M.anifest are Gentleman, Asa, Makaa Maka, Mind games, someway bi, Jigah, when Aba.
M.anifest single “someway bi” earned him a third-place honor in the international songwriter’s competition. The singer has been awarded for various categories of which some are Best rapper of the year ( 2013) Ghana Music Awards, Hip-Hop song of the year( 2013l Ghana Music Awards, Best individual style (2016) Glitz style awards, Best rapper of the year (2017) Ghan Music Awards.
On June 30th, 2016, M.anifest released a diss song titled “God MC” to his fellow rapper Micheal Owusu Addi popularly known as Sarkodie. Sarkodie replied to him within two days with a diss track of his own called “Kanta” which was a panda cover. M.anifest diss song “good MC” went on to win Hip Hop song of the year in Ghana Music Awards the following year.
M.anifest tweeted on his page on Twitter, after he found out of his tweet on a billboard in Madina. He posted the tweet on Tuesday, 21st December 20121 stating ” When Twitter Ghana makes your tweet a billboard in Madina”. His tweet had a picture of a big billboard and on the billboard, it was written, “Waakye might be better than Jollof to me but still dey chop the two all cause they bother dey him. Don’t let comparison streak your joy”.
