What Happened to the Sleeping Prince?

Prince Al-Waleed was involved in a terrible car accident in London in 2005 when he was just 15 years old. At the time, he was studying in a military college and preparing for a career in the military.

His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, never gave up hope. For 20 years, he stayed close to his son, praying and hoping he would recover. The family’s faith and support touched many people around the world.

Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al Saud Cause of  Death

Prince Al-Waleed passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 36. His funeral prayers were held the next day at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Who Was Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al Saud?

Born on April 18, 1990, Prince Al-Waleed was part of Saudi Arabia’s royal family. He was the eldest son of Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud. He was also the great-grandson of King Abdulaziz, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia. His uncle is the famous billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.
