Why is half of Justin Biebers face paralyzed? The Canadian pop star Justin Bieber face is currently suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a neurological disorder characterized by facial nerve paralysis.

On Friday 10th June 2022, Justin Bieber took online to reveal to his fans and followers what has happened to his face. He added that the he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome and that it has left his left face paralyzed.

Due to what has happened to Justin Biebers face he has canceled and postponed many shows and concerts till further notice.

“For those who are disappointed by my cancellation of the upcoming gigs, I’m simply not physically capable of completing them,” Bieber explained. “As you can see, this is a terrible situation. I wish this wasn’t the case, but my body is telling me that I need to calm down. And I’m hoping you people get it.

What is Ramsay Hunt syndrome?

According to the Mayo Clinic, RHS “occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears. In addition to the painful shingles rash, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear.”
