Wizkid was born on 16 July 1990 in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria to Alhaji Muniru Olatunji Balogun and Jane Dolapo. Wizkid has 13 other siblings but their names aren’t available. Growing up the songwriter used to listen to King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, and Bob Marley. Wizkid had his basic education at Ijebu Ode Grammar School.
