“I was taken aback when I heard it,” he said, referencing the claims that he was in a relationship with a man.
Despite the buzz surrounding his sexuality, Uzor clarified that he is not gay but holds no prejudice toward the LGBTQ+ community. He revealed that he has many gay friends, and he’s comfortable being around them.
“I have a lot of gay friends. I love them. If being gay was my sexuality, I would own it—and I’d be one of the hottest around,” Uzor stated confidently.
The actor emphasized that while he respects everyone’s sexual orientation, he would not accept being misrepresented or labeled falsely. He also noted that if he were gay, he would not hide it and would openly embrace that identity.
Uzor concluded his remarks by leaving the judgment to God, insisting that people should focus on his craft and not his personal life.
