The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially confirmed that several key Black Stars players including Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Antoine Semenyo will miss the upcoming Unity Cup 2025 in London due to injuries and club-related issues.
In a press release, the GFA announced that Kudus, Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, Elisha Owusu, and Semenyo are all recovering from minor injuries. Thomas Partey and Michael Baidoo have been granted a break by head coach Otto Addo.

The injury list continues with Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Tariq Lamptey, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Abdul Mumin, Daniel Kofi Kyereh, Alidu Seidu, and Iñaki Williams also ruled out of the squad.
In addition, Joseph Paintsil and Osman Bukari are unavailable due to ongoing Major League Soccer (MLS) matches. Jerome Opoku, Kingsley Schindler, and Alexander Djiku were not released by their Turkish clubs, as their season is yet to conclude.
Despite these absences, Otto Addo has named a strong 23-man squad, which includes four home-based players, ahead of the crucial fixture against Nigeria.
