From our research to date it’s has been confirmed that Francisca Lamini of Keta SHS is the first female to have gone for the most talked-about quiz National science and maths quiz after 8 years.
The school made its first appearance at the grand finale of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz contests. Keta SHTS defeated the Wesley Girls’ Senior High School and the Tamale Senior High School in the Semi-Final to book a place at the grand finale for the first time in the history of the Volta Region.
Ketasco was represented by Bright Senyo Gadzo, Francisca Lamini, and James Lutterodt. These great students of Volta broke boundaries to become the first Volta-Oti team to contest in the grand finale of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
However, things didn’t go well as Prempeh college beat PRESEC and Keta SHS to win the trophy as the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz contest. The winner of NSMQ 2021 saw the likes of Francisca Lamini the only female among guys to compete for the trophy.
