Peace pact: I support the demands of the NDC – Pratt

Veteran journalist Kwesi Pratt Junior has thrown his support behind the demands being made by the the National Democratic Congress in order for the peace pact to be inked.

The renowned veteran journalist, Mr Kwesi Pratt Jnr in a Social media post has advocated for the Peace Council to adopt the demands being made by the National Democratic Congress in order to get the leading opposition political party in Ghana to sign the peace pact heading into the December 4 general elections.

Further, the ace broadcaster and Chief Editor for the Insight News Paper asserted that, all the demands being made by the leadership of the National Democratic Congress are very legitimate calls and therefore, it will be in the right direction for the National Peace Council to implement the demands being made.

” These paraphrased demands of the NDC are legitimate and have my full support,” Mr Pratt stipulated in his social media post in the early hours of Saturday morning, August 24 2024.

” (1) Full implementation of investigations into the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency incident.

” (2) Initiation of prosecution for all instances of violence during the last election.

” (3) Prosecution for the printing of ballot papers.

” (4) The President commitment to respecting the outcome of the 2024 elections.

” (5) Investigation of missing IT equipment from the EC warehouse.

” (6) Signing of a peace pact by the IGP, CJ, A-G, and National Security Coordinator,” these where the six demands being made by the National Democratic Congress.
