Govt set to employ 15,200 nurses and midwives — MoH announces

The Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Health have made public announcement for their intentions to begin the recruitment of fifteen thousand and two-hundred nurses and midwives.

In a letter issued by the Ministry of Health which is dated, 26th July 2024 indicated that, the government is set to provide employment to qualified nurses and midwives who have graduated and have been in the unemployment bus.

“The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the general public that, the Ministry of Finance has issued financial clearance to recruit 15,200 nurses and midwives,” the statement indicated.

“Recruitment will commence on Monday, 5th August 2024 at 12:00 noon,” the statement indicates

The letter further iterated that, “Qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging-in onto http//he.moh.gov.gh and follow the instructions to select the preferred agency under the ministry.”

However, qualified applicants have the day commencement and the next seventeen days to submit their CVS into the portal.

“Deadline for submission of application is Friday, 23rd August 2024 at 6:00pm.”

More so, “The public is kindly informed that recruitment process is very transparent. Applicants should therefore be aware of any persons who may approach them on the protest of assisting them for recruitment at a fee. The Ministry therefore advises all applicants not to make any payments for this process. Whoever pays money does so at his/her own risk,” the statement cautioned.
