Accra Academy Senior High School are unable to access electricity due to their inability to service their debt with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

In the past few hours, The Electricity Company of Ghana have successfully disconnected Accra Academy Senior High School from their power supply as the institution had failed to find means of paying the service being provided to them by company.

As a result of this new development, students in the school would be deprived of access to the computer laboratory and won’t be able to have preps late in the evening if the administration of the school does not settle the bills owed to the Electricity Company of Ghana before the day ends.

Sources have it that, the school is no exception to the inadequate resources syndrome being experience by all Senior High Schools who are currently running the Free Senior High School policy which was initiated by President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo in 2017.
