In a major development ahead of the December 7, 2024, presidential elections, the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has officially disqualified Bernard Mornah of the People’s National Convention (PNC) and Janet Nabla of the People’s National Party (PNP) from contesting. Why Were Bernard Mornah and Janet Nabla Disqualified?

Following the Filing of Nominations process, which ran from September 9 to September 13, 2024, the EC conducted a thorough review of all submitted Nomination Forms.
