Bill Burr is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and podcaster who was born William Frederick Burr in Canton, Massachusetts. He created and performed as Frank Murphy, the main character in the Netflix animated series F Is for Family (2015–2021).

Bill Burr with the birth name William Frederick Burr was born on June 10, 1968. He was born in Canton, Massachusetts. He is a son of nurse Linda Ann and dentist Robert Edmund Burr. Also, he is one of four brothers and a sister.
Bill graduated from high school in 1987. In 1993, he received a bachelor’s degree in radio from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
Before beginning his comedic career, he worked in warehouses and later stated that he appreciated the flexibility of the job: “If my boss gave me a rough time, I could just get on a forklift and just, like, drive away.”

He debuted the Bill Bert Podcast, a new podcast he co-hosted with fellow comic Bert Kreischer, in October 2019. Burr has also appeared on Opie and Anthony, You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes, The Adam Carolla Show, and The Joe Rogan Experience, as well as other comedians’ podcasts.
