Stonebwoy is a Ghanaian dancehall artiste and songwriter. He has been nominated for several awards including the BET Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, VGMA, 3Music awards, and the MOBO Awards. He was born in Ashaiman, Ghana but hails from Alakple-Anloga, Ghana.
Stonebwoy’s first radio hit, ‘Makuma’ (My Heart) was released in his second year at Senior High School, Methodist Day Secondary School with several others like ‘Empress’ gaining him some underground popularity after school.
Stonebwoy is also known for his collaborations with other artists such as Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie, Davido, Adina, Pataapaa, OV, Kelyvnboy among others. Stonebwoy is currently the president of Bhim nation. A record label that signed Kelvynboy and OV.
