Otto Addo Names Black Stars Squad for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, has officially announced the squad for Ghana’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The lineup features some familiar faces along with a few fresh talents. Among the local players called up for the matches are Razak Simpson from Nations FC, Benjamin Asare of Hearts of Oak, and Kamaradini Mamudu from Medeama.

Thomas Partey is making his comeback to the team after sitting out some AFCON qualifiers due to injury. On the other hand, seasoned midfielder André “Dede” Ayew has been left off the list, even though he’s been active at the club level.

The selected players will gather on March 17 for a four-day training camp in preparation for their first qualifier against Chad in Accra on March 21. Following that, they’ll head to Morocco to take on Madagascar.
