Robert LuPone was an actor and creative director from the United States. He appeared in theater and in motion pictures and on television. He was the sibling of Patti LuPone. Robert LuPone died at 76 after a three-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
LuPone was raised in Northport, New York on Long Island after being born in Brooklyn, New York City. He is the child of Orlando Joseph LuPone, a school administrator and English teacher at Walt Whitman High School in Huntington, Long Island, and Angela Louise LuPone, a librarian at Long Island University’s C.W. Post Campus.
