Award-winning Nigerian music promoter and hype man, Bankulli has stated that without mincing words that Shatta Wale is the biggest artist in Ghana.
Laying emphasis on his bold declaration, he made it clear that no Ghanaian musician, neither Sarkodie nor Stonebwoy can match Shatta’s pedigree.
While praising the Melissa hitmaker for his amazing talent, he urged him(Shatta) to keep up with his good music adding that he believes the time has come for him to take his music to a different level.
Adding to this, Bankulli stated that though he is aware Shatta Wale’s name and brand may seem annoying to most Ghanaian music lovers, he is confident the raggae/dancehall artist has what it take to become a global star.
Furthermore, he revealed that he wants Shatta Wale to get more international collaborations because he believes it will increase his chances of gaining recognition in the international music space.
Undoubtedly, Shatta Wale is one of the most popular musicians in Ghana having a career tenure spanning over a decade and counting.
