Top-rated Ghanaian raggae/dancehall musician, Iwan has blamed the Ghanaian media for their lack of support resulting in his inability to shine in the music scene of late.
In a recent disclosure made by the Thanks and Praises hitmaker, he attributed this lack of support for his music to the lyrical content being used by him in the composition of his songs.
According to him, he is one artist who likes to promote positive messages in his songs and this is one major reason why he feels the media isn’t supporting.
Explaining further, Iwan asserted that the media has consciously refused to give him the needed support and attention because he doesn’t sing about immoral subjects unlike the others.
Furthermore, the talented Ghanaian lyricist stated that he is one artist who is undervalued in Ghana based on his refusal to sing about promiscuous subjects in his tunes.
Indifferent about his decision to churn out to positive lyrics through his music, Iwan laid emphasis on the fact that he will never succumb to following the trend of composing songs that promote immorality or promiscuity.
Furthermore, he encouraged his colleagues in the music scene to use their talent to address societal issues while emphasizing on the essence of being outspoken and bold enough to tackle challenging topics that negatively affect the Ghanaian society.
