Alan Ladd Jr, popular known for commissioning George Lucas for Star Wars has kicked the bucket.
The news of producer Alan Ladd Jnr death was announced and confirm by his daughter Amanda Ladd Jones.
Alan is famous for winning the Best Picture Oscar for Braveheart. He died at the age has passed away at 84.
With the heaviest of hearts, we announce that on March 2, 2022, Alan Ladd, Jr. died peacefully at home surrounded by his family,” Amanda wrote.
“Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed. His impact on films and filmmaking will live on in his absence.”
Ladd’s brother also weighed in on his passing, calling him his “hero.”
“My brother, my friend, my hero, who always stood by my side. We will stand together again on the other side! I love you Laddie,” David Ladd posted on Facebook.
