He memorably assisted Great Britain and Ireland in 1971, their only Walker Cup triumph ever, to put an end to their 33-year losing streak to the US. The two-time captain of that competition also twice captured the English Amateur Championship.

Kathy Marsh, a flutist, is a working musician and instructor. Kathy Marsh is popularly known as the wife of David Marsh, former Everton chairman, and amateur golfer. She has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Santa Barbara Grand Opera, Master Choral, as well as other numerous symphony and chamber ensembles throughout Southern California.
She is currently the solo piccolo player of the Santa Barbara Symphony and the principal flute of the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Marsh, who hails from Bowling Green, Ohio, graduated from the University of Southern California with a master’s in music and the Eastman School of Music with a bachelor’s in music.
