Edward Enninful OBE is a British fashion editor and the current editor-in-chief of British Vogue, a position he has held since August 2017. He is the first male editor-in-chief in the magazine’s 100-year history.
Enninful was born in Ghana and moved to London at the age of 12. He began his career as a fashion assistant at i-D magazine in 1991. He has since worked for a number of fashion titles including The Face, W, Another Man, and American Vogue.
Enninful has also worked as a creative director for a number of fashion brands, including Mulberry and Givenchy. In 2016, Enninful was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his services to diversity in the fashion industry.
