Ellen Kyei White, popularly known in showbiz as Ellen White was born on September 30 in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Ellen Kyei White is an actress, media personality, brand ambassador, and entrepreneur. She was born to Adventist parents and was devoted to the church as she joined the singing choir at a very early stage.
Ellen Kyei White was raised by her mother after she lost her father at the age of five. She attended the Adventist Primary School and later went for her Secondary education at the Adventist Day Senior High School in Suame, Kumasi.

Ellen Kyei White had her first role in a movie while she was sent on an errand to Adum, Kumasi ( after she had completed Senior High School). According to Ellen, a film director popularly known as Jackson K. Bentum spotted her and said there is something special in her and he will like to bring it to the limelight. She never knew what that “something special” was but later found out that, the “something special ” is acting. She was cast as Santos’s girlfriend in her first movie role in the movie titled “Okukuseku”.
After she was featured in the “Okukuseku movie”, she moved to Germany, where she spent 5 years and later relocated to England. She spent 4 years in England to seek greener pastures. She returned to her homeland Ghana after she got beaten by the snow while working in a grocery shop in London after her usual bus failed to arrive after 2 hours.
Ellen was welcomed by director Jackson K. Bentum who ushered her into the film industry and since then, she has been starred in many movies. Some of the movies Ellen Kyei White has starred in are Wife Conflict, Evil Covenant, Fake Feelings, The Mighty One, Okukuseku, I’m no Asem.
