Tyrone Marhguy, the Rastafarian students who was denied admission to Achimota School based on decision to keep his dreadlocks has come out to state that he was unperturbed about the senior high school’s decision not to admit him.

According to the young Rastafarian who went viral on social media after news about his rejection fell into the media space, he rather remained focus on his studies in order to achieve his academic objective.

A few hours ago, the young brilliant student took over social media after releasing his WASSCE results to prove his worth as an academic scholar.

Upon revealing his WASSCE, it was observed that he had scored an impressive 8As.

In an exclusive interview on Citi TV, Tyrone shared his resilience in the face of a challenging journey marked by a massively publicized high school admission rejection.

He had no idea why he faced such a rejection but he didn’t the rejection get to him at all. Rather, he used that as motivation adding that his parents were also very supportive and that is ome thing that kept him going despite the challenges.

Explaining how he felt checking his results for the first time, Tyrone revealed that at the point in time, he felt like checking his results alone.

However, he could tell from the looks on the faces of the people around him that there were very enthusiastic about his results, so he checked while they placed cameras on him and astonishingly his result was excellent.

Throwing more light on his future academic plans, he revealed that he is planning on studying either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering at the tertiary level.
