Iconic Nigerian-based Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known in the entertainment circle as Wizkid has opened up about the unbearable pain he’s been feeling ever since he lost his mother.
Wizkid was hit by the news about his mother sudden demise in August when he was still on his ‘More Love Less Ego’ album tour in Europe.
Loosing one’s mother can be a veey disheartening experience and just like any human being with feelings, Wizkid has decided to express his sad feelings about the death of his mom.
In a recent social media post shared by the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker, he expressed his feelings after his mother’s demise stating that life has been a meaningless ever since she left the land of the living.
In a recent Instagram post, the singer urged fans to work with God while emphasizing on the pain he feels after loosing his mum.
According to him, though he feels sad having to lose his mum at this time, he believes there are times when you simply have to let everything go and work with God.
Wizkid happens to be one of the few Nigerian-based musicians who have publicly expressed their frustration and sadness having to live without their mother after attaining success.
