Four Ghanaian players have been nominated for La Liga’s African MVP mid-season award, including attacker Inaki Williams.

Joseph Aidoo, Baba Iddrisu, and Abdul Mumin are among the other Ghanaian players nominated for the award.

The Ghanaian quintet will now compete for the prize against other African players from La Liga, including Bono, Samuel Chukwueze, Youssef En-Nesyri, Franck Kessié, Ilaix Moriba, and others.

Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams has had a productive season, scoring five goals and contributing five assists in 18 games. The forward has been an important member of his team.

Joseph Aidoo, a centre-back, has also made 18 appearances for Celta Vigo, scoring one goal.

Baba Iddrisu, a Real Mallorca midfielder, has played 15 games and has been a steady performer for his squad. Abdul Mumin, a young centre-back, has made four appearances for his new team, Rayo Vallecano.
