Russia-Ukraine war live; at least 11 killed in Russian missile strikes as Putin threatens more retaliation across Ukraine’s cities. At least 64 people are injured in a wave of attacks on Ukrainian cities; Russia’s president promises a “stern response” to the Kerch Bridge attack.

Meanwhile, Anatoly Kurtev, the administrative head of Zaporizhzhia, published a series of photographs depicting the aftermath of the midnight missile attack. According to local media sources and regional officials, a series of explosions have rocked Ukraine’s capital Kyiv.

According to a spokesperson, UN Secretary-General António Guterres was  “deeply shocked”  by Russia’s most widespread air strikes since the start of the Ukraine war.

The UN spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, said in a statement: This constitutes another unacceptable escalation of the war and, as always, civilians are paying the highest price.

“I just spoke with @DmytroKuleba to reiterate U.S. support for Ukraine following the Kremlin’s horrific strikes this morning. We will continue to provide unwavering economic, humanitarian, and security assistance so Ukraine can defend itself and take care of its people.”
