Selly Galley was born on 25 September 1987 in a suburb of Accra. She was bred in Accra and had most of her formative years of education in Accra. For her secondary and basic education level, she attended the Witsands School and Akosombo International School.
She read General Arts during her senior high school education which qualified her to enroll in a tertiary education program. After completing high school, she proceeded to Marshalls University where she read Business Law, Economics, and Marketing.
Upon completion, she attained a diploma. Selly Galley first made her appearance in the entertainment industry in 2011 where she participated in the maiden edition of Miss Ghallywood Talent Hunt and won.
Two years later, she participated in the 8th edition of The Big Brother Naija reality show. Though she wasn’t the winner, she pulled herself through and was the 13th person to be evicted out of 48 housemates. She was definitely evicted on the 49th day of the competition.
