Simon Cowell is reportedly planning to marry his fiancee Lauren Silverman next month. According to The Sun, the 62-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge has set the date for June, and their eight-year-old son Eric will be ‘front and center.’
‘It’s been a long time coming, and now Simon just wants to get Lauren up the aisle as soon as possible.’ He stated that he chose to propose to his long-term girlfriend in January after feeling as if they were already engaged while living together during the lockdown.

On Christmas Eve in Barbados, Simon Cowell proposed to his socialite girlfriend Lauren, 44. The Covid-19 pandemic was also described as a “make or break” event for couples, with lockdown allowing him and Lauren to get closer and realize how well they get along.
Simon, who has never been married, claimed that he doesn’t see himself dating again after leaving his bachelor lifestyle behind to marry Lauren. ‘I also couldn’t picture myself ever dating anyone again,’ he told The Sun.
It’s too strange to go on a first date right now.’ Another reason Britain’s Got Talent judge chose to propose was that he felt it was the appropriate thing to do for their son Eric.
‘I believed it was the appropriate thing to do for Eric because as he gets older, he would be questioned more and more about his parents, and I thought it was the proper thing to do for him,’ he added. Lauren has a son, Adam, 16, from her former relationship with businessman Andrew Silverman.
