Skip Bayless was born John Edward Bayless II to Levita Bayless and John Bayless. Bayless is an American sports columnist, writer, commentator, and television personality. He was born on December 4, 1981. He lived with his parents and sibling Rick Bayless in Oklahoma City, United States. He is married to Ernestine Sclafani.
Bayless interest in sports began at a very tender age. He loves to play basketball and baseball. He attended Northwest Classen High School. Bayless was a 2-year member of the National Honor Society and also President of his school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter. Skip Bayless was also an officer in the letterman’s club.
In both his junior and senior years in high school, he became the primary sports columnist of the school. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Grantland Rice Scholarship to study at Vanderbilt University.
