The member of Parliament for South-Dayi constituency, Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor has slammed government for unaccountable expenditures which amounts to GH¢40 million in serving as relief for the Akosombo Dam spillage flood victims.
According to the legal practitioner, Mr Dafeamekpor has stipulated facts on his social media page indicating that, government has spent nothing close to the expenditure it is claiming to have spent.
“I am only aware of Volta River Authority’s GH¢10 million to NADMO for the relief items. I have criticized central government for not giving any monies so far. Suddenly this?”Hon Rockson questioned.
Further, Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor assured that he was going uproot details of the actual expenditures made by government which has amounted to GH¢40 million.
“This is a big joke. I’m filing an urgent Question to demand a full breakdown, actual Beneficiary District and the names of the victims,” Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor.
