“Volta NDC will not relinquish its ‘world bank’ status to any region come 2024, says Mawutor Agbavitor, Volta Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
He emphasized that the current executives will spare no effort to ensure the NDC wins all 18 seats in the region. Comrade Agbavitor made these statements while addressing a two-day retreat for organizers and Zongo caucus coordinators from all eighteen constituencies in the region, held at Hohoe.
The retreat, themed ‘Rallying the Synergy towards Building the Ghana We Want Together,’ saw the participation of national officers, including Comrade Joseph Yamin, Mustapha Gbande, Kobby Balon, and Elikem Kotoko.
Notable attendees also included the Member of Parliament for Buem, Hon. Kofi Adams, Greater Accra Regional Organizer, Tony Nukpenu, Regional Vice Chairman, Egypt Kobla Kudoto, Regional Secretary, James Gunu, Deputy Regional Organizer, Elliot Wogbe, Deputy Women Organizer, and Cynthia Afeafa Woayor.”
